To meet the basic needs of water supply in villages, BAICO supplied the YASUR MP pumps series to pump water from photovoltaic panels.

YASUR MP pumps series are pumps "made in Europe" and manufactured with the latest technology for maximum use of solar radiation during daylight hours. The motor features an intelligent electronics .The unit is equipped with an AC permanent magnet motor with high efficiency and high starting torque makes the pump starts , even in low sunlight. The integrated frequency inverter converts the DC power into AC for motor power efficiently and at the same time, adjusts the speed of the pump in relation to the available irradiation, maximizing the power extracted (MPPT). Protections for overload, over temperature and dry running are integrated.

The Gambian company run by Mr. Alhagie Kartamo sold and installed successfully YASUR MP pumps series supplying water in villages within the country, from a well with a 30m phreatic level to water towers about 12 m3 capacity. They have water for human supply and for irrigation of orchards.
